The Terlingua School of Alternative Building is offering 30 day & 90 day unpaid internship program.
This will involve hard work at times, learning new skills and stretching/growing your abilities and knowledge. You must be able to meet your financial needs while here as this is an unpaid position at this time. We are starting to build this off-grid educational center to help others provide all their needs without needing a lot of money to pay others to do everything. The big idea is to build an educational center where people learn to build their lives to be freedom based with minimal job-money-spending. We want people to be able to live a free lifestyle where they are in control of their time and life by building their own homes and all the systems that support the function of that structure, such as solar electric, air conditioning, and also to produce food and income without jobs. You will be assisting build this dream and helping set people free while learning all the same skills.
This is a great opportunity to Experience and Learn to build a modern self sufficient lifestyle and pick up the new skill sets. It may even be a good option for a mental spiritual reset and for those who recently stepped out of a job or enjoy a year off from the crazy cult-ure that is driving the world crazy at this time.
What You Will Be Doing & Learning
- Living off-grid, apart from Babylon in a remote location
- Learn to Make and Build Guest Rooms/Tiny Houses With AirCrete
- Assist with Teaching in Workshops with the knowledge you have learned
- Desert Permaculture and principals including a Permaculture Design Video Course. Planting trees and digging swales to catch rain water.
- How to Build and manage Bio-Intensive Gardens
- Dovecotes and small livestock management
- Off-Grid Skills and experience
- Electric Wiring
- Plumbing
- Air-Conditioning
- Engineering of: power, food, structure, Heat loads
- Preparing Cement Foundations
- Cast Earth Building
- Ceramics
- Water Catchment over land, Digging/Shaping the land
- Website Design and Building An Online Business
- Basic Computer 3D Modeling
- Problem solving and priority management
- Aquaponics/Duck-Aquaponics Organic Soil Building
- Water Purification
- Designing food systems to meet dietary requirements
- Foraging and preserving natural foods
- Legal strategies to eliminate taxes and handle basic legal issues
Food & Lodging Provided once you Assist in Completion of a room
You must be prepared Stay in a Structure without power or air-conditioning until you assist with the completion of an AirCrete Tiny House. Then to You will be provided a private AirCrete Room to stay in with Air-Conditioning/Heat, Wi-Fi, Bedding/basic toiletries.
BASIC Meals Provided, Diet will NOT be vegan. We will eat mostly eggs, cheese, beans, rice, wheat, oats, corn, nuts, breads, and occasional meats like chicken and beef. Generally we eat two meals per day. Breakfast is a snack type affair like oatmeal or eggs.
Expectations
- UNVACINATED! If you have received the experimental gene therapy referred to as a "covid vaccine", then do not apply! We value health & reason; avoiding spike protein shedding exposure.
- No pay provided. You must provide for your own needs beyond food & Lodging.
- Basic Emergency Travel Insurance is provided for 90 days
- We require daily participation 5 days every week. Most days will be 4+ hours work and occasional days may be all day work other may be no work.
- We are asking for a commitment, but will consider shorter terms if you are the right person.
- You must be able to self-start and finish task without supervision
- Drug use beyond natural plants and mushrooms prohibited. If you can not think clearly, function, remember things explained, work, and self motivate because of any substance you will NOT be allowed to stay.
- Good positive attitude is a must.
- Communication with actual words without emotional outburst is a must.
- You should have your own spiritual beliefs in something good and bigger than self and be a person seeking to grow your self & spirit. (spiritual, thinking for self and not religious)
