Estimating Cost For building a Dome with Aircrete

A question that comes up repetitively is how much does it cost per square foot to build my Dome. On the surface this is a widely speculative question because many other questions would have to be answered such as what’s your finish or what are your materials going to cost how luxurious do you want your home, what appliances are going in your home, are you providing the labor or are you hiring Craftsman, are you using unskilled labor, is your flooring wood tile granite or polished cement, exedra.

As as a builder of aircrete Domes I often need an estimate of the materials to be ordered as well as the cost to the owner. So I put together a spreadsheet tool that allows me to quickly estimating material cost and it even includes wasteed material for block trimming.

Please remember this is a rough estimate. An amount of wasted material is estimated, but often there is more waste with workers new to the process.
