Tammi was a great hostess; she was extremely responsive and provided many recommendations in the area, both in Big Bend National Park and Terlingua. The drive is a bit far from the park, but the surrounding area is beautiful to drive through. Overall, great experience.

This was such a great place to stay. The room was comfy. The shower was great after several days of camping/hiking at Big Bend. Tammy was very friendly and helpful when greeting us.

Tammi was the friendliest and most welcoming host we met during our various Airbnb experiences. She clearly explained every detail and made sure that we were comfortable. We were traveling to Big Bend for the first time, and she shared with us her experience and the best trails she had explored. 

The location was so peaceful and quiet, with mountains surrounding it. You must travel through a short stretch of gravel road to reach there. The place was clean, had all the mentioned amenities, and had a good hot shower, ensuring a comfortable stay. We saw an amazing sunset during our time there. It was quite a memorable experience, made even more special by Tammi's hospitality and care. We highly recommend this place!

The property is secluded and offers fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. The night stargazing was impeccable and conveniently located not too far from Big Bend.

First of all, the family we stayed with are two of the loveliest people we have ever had the pleasure to meet and spend time with!

The host was so kind and accessible. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked! The directions made it very easy to find and it was close to Big Bend.

Everything! The location, the hosts and the accommodation! This place really is something special! The hosts are so attentive and welcoming that you really feel like you are at home! Nothing is too much trouble and the hosts spend time getting to know you.

Trust me, and I have stayed in many different countries and places and this is a place I will never forget! Book here and you will most definitely not be disappointed!

Tammi and her family were very welcoming. I got lost driving on the dark roads and they found me. That was on me, I left late. The stay was nice. Everything is run with solar energy and it’s really efficient. There’s a sweet country cat and dog that welcome you in the morning, and at night you can see all the stars. Thank you Tammi and family.

The stay was in an awesome remote part of the desert. My GPS sent me originally to the wrong spot but Tammi sent me clear instructions that I was able to use to navigate to get to their place in the evening. The place is clean, cosy and has fast internet. Tammi is lovely and offered me a cup of sweet tea on my arrival.

Tammi is so helpful. Her place is close enough to Big Bend National Park and Terlingua Ghost Town. 
The room is clean, had clean showers, and has no issues.
The place is a tad difficult to find, and without cell service, this made it difficult, but Tammi provides great directions. I reset my odometer to match the milage for each turn she provided, which was accurate.
I would definitely stay again!

If you're looking for a remote Airbnb where you have a beautiful night sky, this is a good pick.  Tammy was very nice and helpful.  I really enjoyed my stay here.

We stayed for a night at Tammi and Daniel's place. They were amazing hosts and shared lots of info on how they stay off-grid and what other additions they have planned for the future. Everything provided was excellent with a lovely room and the views were mind blowing. A perfect place for star gazing! Would definitely recommend a million times over and we're looking forward to staying there again just to enjoy more star gazing and beautiful views of the mountains on all sides.

I booked at the last minute and stayed 2 nights during spring break season.

Tammi was proactive by providing great directions and suggestions prior to the check in date. 

The room was very comfortable and well decorated and had all the items listed in the description. As described the bathroom is separated from the unit and shared. This wasn't an issue for me though some who are expecting a more refined setting would be disappointed. The wifi was great which was appreciated as I didn't get cellular coverage at the unit or in area in general. 

Tammi was very friendly and helpful which made the stay more enjoyable. I  enjoyed the sunrise and the starry skies at night.

The unit requires a bit of dirt road traveling, is off grid, and about 90 minutes to the center of Big Bend National Park.

Surrounded by mountain views, the hosts made sure we had an exceptional time. We will certainly stay here again! This hands down was the best relaxation we have had in a long while.

Easy access to Big Bend National Park and the hosts gave tips on best access points depending on what you are looking for (staying on pavement or hitting the more remote trails). It's great having someone there to ask questions when needed and so friendly that you immediately feel like friends.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like about the stay, however, if you are looking for city life, this is not your place. If you want a little piece of Heaven and Peace, this is your place! Happy Trails All!

The room was comfortable. The location is excellent for those who want to really get away and stay in a remote area. It's a great place to see the stars at night. It is rustic but in a good way. Tammi is very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom and shower is outside a few steps. Very hot water that was so great at the end of the day.

Rustic but cozy.  It’s definitely off the grid but there’s wifi and all the amenities!  Bedroom is tidy and immaculate.  Common areas (ie host’s shared space for cooking) a bit more casual/tousled/wind-blown.  To be expected in a rugged desert environment such as this.  The stars and the sunsets are more than enough to offset any pangs of discomfort that a “neat-nik” might experience!  I would definitely stay here again!
