What is the foaming agent used for AirCrete?

Use professional agents like Drexel FM160 (1 oz/gal) or Vermillion (0.6 oz/gal). Dish soaps like Dawn 2X can be used for tests (5 oz/gal), but they are less stable and not ideal for building.

What is the cost of building an AirCrete house?

Wall costs range from $12–$32 per square foot depending on geometry and thickness. Total house cost also includes foundation, roof, and appliances, which usually exceed wall cost.

How does AirCrete compare to other building methods?

AirCrete is generally more affordable than lumber or adobe walls. For example, a 4x8 wall costs ~$56 with AirCrete vs $102 in lumber. Cob, wattle, and daub can be cheaper but require more labor and materials.

No. They must be sealed to protect insulation value and prevent freeze-thaw damage. Water can be absorbed and may cause surface cracking if unsealed and frozen.

Can AirCrete be used in cold climates?

Yes, if walls are thick enough and construction is completed before freezing. Wet AirCrete must not be exposed to freezing during curing.
